Job Description:Under the guidance of the Director and Sr. Specialists, the Category Specialist is responsible for carrying out tasks that support the strategic plan for the assigned categories of spend. The tasks include strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, facilitating product conversions and contract award notifications, managing supply requests, facilitating vendor negotiations, RFP creation, and managing Group Purchasing contracts within their category.
Work Experience:
2 years of sourcing/contracting/category management experience or equivalent clinical experience

Education Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree required.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

No certification/licensure requirement.
