West Coast - Sales (50% Travel)

OXOS is searching for a Capability Specialist to join our high-growth team. You will be the on-the-ground expert training customers to deploy, operate, and integrate our handheld Dynamic Digital Radiography systems. This is a unique opportunity for a radiology-savvy professional who enjoys teaching, traveling, and directly impacting customer success in medical imaging.

Responsibilities

  • Field-based Training
    • Design and deliver on-site and virtual training programs for radiologists, technologists, and support staff
    • Certify customer users to competency standards within defined timelines
    • Provide live demonstrations of core features, workflows, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Training Materials Development
    • Create and maintain multimedia resources: step-by-step guides, quick-start cards, e-learning modules, and video tutorials
    • Update all materials to reflect software upgrades, hardware enhancements, and customer feedback
    • Publish and organize content in the central training portal
  • Customer Proficiency & Analytics
    • Define and track KPIs such as time-to-first-quality image, error-rate reduction, and post-training satisfaction
    • Analyze performance data to identify knowledge gaps and recommend targeted interventions
    • Conduct “refresher” clinics and on-demand coaching to sustain proficiency
  • Feedback & Continuous Improvement
    • Solicit qualitative feedback during training sessions to uncover usability issues or workflow bottlenecks
    • Partner with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to translate feedback into product and process enhancements
    • Document recurring issues and maintain a knowledge base of field-proven solutions
  • Sales Support and Operations
    • Act as the customer advocate for training needs and system integration challenges
    • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and travel for training engagements across assigned territories
    • Report progress, risks, and insights regularly to the Customer Success leadership team

Qualifications & Skills

  • Required
    • ≥ 2 years’ hands-on experience in radiology environments (hospital, clinic, or imaging center)
    • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver technical training for adult learners
    • Strong understanding of radiographic imaging principles, DICOM/PACS workflows, and healthcare IT architectures
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with comfort presenting to clinical and technical audiences
    • Proven organizational skills: managing multiple projects, schedules, and customer relationships
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Preferred
    • Licensed Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent certification
    • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools
    • Experience in instructional design and multimedia content creation
    • Basic troubleshooting skills for imaging hardware and software systems
