Job Description

We are seeking a high-impact Business Development Manager to lead a key strategic partnership in North America with Pavion. This role involves managing the relationship at the executive level, shaping market strategy, and directly influencing how our innovative video solutions are implemented on a large scale.

This is a dynamic, high-profile role suitable for a proven leader skilled in forming long-term, complex alliances, developing and executing strategic initiatives, and increasing and achieving sales targets.

What You'll Be Doing:

As the Strategic Accounts Business Development Manager, you will be the primary steward of the Pavion account, focusing on driving growth and fostering partnerships. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executive Relationship Builder: Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships at the executive level within your assigned strategic account.
  • Strategic Growth Driver: Identify, create, and close new sales opportunities, managing the full sales pipeline from initial contact to order delivery.
  • Architecting the Future: Create, execute, and continually refine strategic business plans for your account and alliances, aligning our video solutions with their long-term vision.
  • Product Champion: Serve as the product expert, preparing comprehensive proposals and quotes, and overseeing the sale of our full suite of Avigilon and MSI products and services. You will directly influence how our products are successfully deployed and utilized.
  • Market Influencer: Identify key surveillance market trends and influencers, positioning our products as the superior solution in the industry.
  • Cross-Functional Leader: Collaborate closely with our Global Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams, providing crucial end-user feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to develop account plans, create marketing strategies, generate end-user leads, and implement training programs.
  • Empowering Partners: Develop standardized strategic partnership presentations and sales tools that clearly articulate the Avigilon value proposition to our partners' enterprise teams.

What You'll Need to Bring:

  • 5+ years of successful sales or business development experience, specifically within the video security solutions industry.
  • Direct experience with Pavion is a significant advantage.
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional sales results and fostering high-value, collaborative relationships.
  • Strong technical acumen and the confidence to discuss complex products and solutions with both technical and business audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Solid understanding of channel strategies and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management; the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment is non-negotiable.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% of the time across North America.

  • Must be able to travel up to 80% of the time within North America

  • Candidates can live anywhere in the United States

Target Base Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
