About the Role

Sygnia is seeking a results-driven Business Development Lead to support its growth in North America. The individual will play a pivotal role in expanding the company's client base by identifying potential prospects and establishing new business relationships.

The Business Development Lead will drive growth through both inbound and outbound prospecting efforts, using cold emails, calls, and social media outreach to secure meetings for the Client Leadership team. Additionally, this individual will support marketing activities, manage the lead funnel, and consistently meet assigned leads quotas.

The ideal candidate is proactive, data-driven, and an excellent communicator with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to drive business success.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by establishing relationships with prospective clients.
  • Drive growth through inbound prospecting efforts, generating and managing sales leads that convert into opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via email sequences, calls, and social media to book meetings for the Client Leadership team.
  • Understand the needs of prospects and communicate them effectively to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the lead generation process, supporting marketing efforts, managing prospect touchpoints, and ensuring a smooth transition to Client Leaders.
  • Support the client leadership team in pursuit and management of new accounts.
  • Consistently achieve assigned qualified leads quota.
  • Continuously refine and improve messaging and written materials for outreach.
  • Track and report progress and key metrics to management.
Requirements

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in business development or sales development – a must.
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about meeting and exceeding measurable performance goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new concepts and technologies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, outreach strategies and sales prospecting tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
