Corporate Claims Operations is a claim support shared service in Corporate Claims, a division of Great American Insurance. The P&C claim support team assists in claim intake, set up, assignment, financials, compliance, secure file delivery, and everything in between for 13 claim departments and 3 other Corporate shared services within the Great American organization. This means we support 150+ Claim Professionals across the entire company. Joining this team will give you a unique view of the company with the ability to network across divisional lines. Because this team is in high demand, we are looking for a candidate who wants to join a High Performing Team to contribute to our development and growth.

We are looking for an Associate Special Claims Investigative Analyst to join the Corporate Claims team. This individual will work fully remote in the United States. Candidates with previous claims experience are encouraged to apply!

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  • Completes general special claims investigation data and research requests using vendors, online public databases, and/or secured databases

  • Using established criteria and templates, reviews, searches, and analyzes computer and file data for trends and patterns.

  • Uses computer software to prepare profile charts, flow charts, and graphics to display information.

  • Handles confidential documents and information.

  • May communicate with outside vendors and law enforcement departments.

  • Maintains department referral data base.

  • Reviews internal and industry reports for regulatory compliance and identification of potential fraud.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  Associate Degree preferred

  • Generally, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Business, or related discipline.

  • Previous experience reading and interpreting reports preferred.

Salary Range:

$45,000.00 -$55,000.00
