Where do you fit in?

MeUndies is growing, and we're looking to grow our merchandising team. In an effort to help us meet and/or exceed budgeted sales and profitability goals, we need to establish assortments, outline merchandising strategy, track sell-through, and manage sales and inventory levels by category on a seasonal basis. Still reading? The ideal candidate will be analytical, organized and data-driven with a background in e-commerce, excellent communication skills and an ability to combine complex analysis with market knowledge to produce actionable recommendations.

DAY TO DAY

• Generate correct and timely purchase orders that both meet projected demand and stay within overall budget

• Track SKU-level sales, inventory and outstanding orders on a daily basis and make adjustments to plans as needed

• Analyze product performance weekly and identify key items and categories that drive demand and buyer acquisition. Present these findings weekly to cross functional team.

• Manage inventory levels for your category, ensuring we have enough to meet sales targets while staying within our target WOS

• Review sales analytics for each product line and provide reports based on sell through rates and inventory management

• Analyze seasonal assortment of products within your category, use the data to create strategy for future seasons and provide actionable recommendations.

YOU HAVE:

• A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.

• At least two years of experience in a merchandising/buying/planning role

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and working with systems/application

• Advanced Excel skills

• A thorough understanding of retail math concepts and applications

• Analytically oriented: you're proficient with the tools of the trade; you weigh multiple quantitative and qualitative factors to make well informed ecommerce decisions

• An equipped communicator: you effectively convert data into reports and presentations that clearly illustrate opportunities and outline risks; you have a proven ability to understand the wants and needs of your audience

• An accountable teammate: you’ve got great relationships with all of your coworkers, and you're able to maintain these relationships across distance, culture, and time zones through your top notch verbal and written communication skills
