POSITION SUMMARY:

The Assistant Director, Business Development main responsibility is to cultivating, expanding, and planning on new global business opportunity, especially sourcing new business from South East Asian markets.  Other responsibilities include but not limited to ensure exceptional services have been delivered by the team, certify manpower deployment, colleague development & coaching, meeting business target, and other tasks.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Travelling to greet patron(s) globally as needed;
  • Inaugurating the business relation at the target market such as Asia or Overseas Market;
  • Ensure the integration of the relation at the target market;
  • Recommend a new target market(s) trend;
  • Sustaining up-to-date market information with the team ;
  • Strategically propose development of new market(s);
  • Customize business development plans to explore more network opportunities in Southeast Asia as to exceed and achieve Company's business target;
  • Colleague development & coaching;
  • Ensure exceptional service was being delivered;
  • Ensure deployment of manpower for both within properties and outside properties;
  • To comply with all relevant laws, rules and regulations and departmental and Melco policies & procedures.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:

Customer Service

Ensure all customers enjoy a positive experience in a welcoming and entertaining environment through providing an exceptional level of customer understanding and service which meets their expectations and engenders brand loyalty.

  • Measurement of customer satisfaction index.
  • On-going contribution to customer profiles.
  • Communicate information regarding quality new customers to relevant Marketing Office.
  • Strong product knowledge.

Marketing

Utilise every customer contact as an opportunity to market Melco, gain feedback on events and initiatives, and identify possible competitive threats.

  • Ensure delivery of excellent and exceptional customer service in accordance with Melco service standards.
  • Provide drive for return visitation of every customers based on their experience.

Compliance

Ensure that Melco meets its regulatory obligations through demonstrating personal awareness of all relevant legislation and managing employee compliance with all Melco policies and procedures.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and understand the implications of breaches of confidence.
  • Competency testing on an annual basis.

Financial Objective

Perform all aspects of the role and always mindful of the impact, actions or decisions that may have on the financial profitability of the Company.

Experience

  • Minimum 20 years’ experience in Marketing or Premium Market fields, with at least 10 years or more in managerial level;
  • Knowledge in Macau’s Integrated Resorts business model, preferable has worked in Macau or Southeast Asia Integrated Resorts.
