Freelance Concept Designer

Reformation has an exciting opportunity for a Freelance Concept Designer to contribute to our in-house Design & Buying team. This individual will be responsible for identifying key trends in the marketplace and presenting exciting new ideas to the design and buying team. The top candidates for this role will have a very high taste level and will be able to translate his/her ideas to relatable product for the Reformation customer. As a Freelance Concept Designer you will be responsible for delivering innovative product ideas and influencing the brand's larger product strategy. We will provide design requests and look for ideas and concepts with a quick turnaround.

What You’ll Do:

• Analyze key product trends in the marketplace and build a comprehensive list of findings
• Evaluate overall marketplace trends and synthesize list to highlight only the concepts relevant for the Reformation brand/customer; Translate these ideas to specific concepts and design recommendations
• Anticipate future trends - be willing to take calculated risks - where it makes sense.
• Maintain a high standards for quality and design to ensure Reformation product is always top of the line
• Be able to analyze the business and react in a timely manner.
