The Role

<div><b >Overview</b></div><div><span > </span></div><div><span >First Entertainment Credit Union is looking for an </span><b >Assistant Branch Manager (Floater)</b><span > who is responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in overseeing service expectations, goal achievement, and the daily operations of various branches. </span></div><div><span > </span></div><div><span >As the Assistant Branch Manager (Floater), you will motivate, guide, and train teammates in effective service expectations, and cross-selling, and production efforts. The Assistant Branch Manager (Floater) supervises and coordinates the activities of employees engaged in assisting members. You will help manage a broad variety of financial services, such as opening and closing accounts, opening and renewing certificates, opening IRA accounts, processing and funding consumer loans, and general member financial needs.</span></div><div><span > </span></div><div><span >This is a full-time, onsite opportunity reporting to the Director, of Specialty Sales and is based in Hollywood, CA. </span><span >The minimum and maximum annualized hourly base range for this position is $30.64 to $45.97 in California. The target starting hourly rate is between $30.64 and $38.31.</span></div><div><span > </span></div><div><b >Responsibilities </b></div><div><u > </u></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Provide floater coverage for various branches to ensure operation excellence. </span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Is responsible for assisting with the effective and efficient performance of branch production, quality service, sales, and operations.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Lead, supervise, and train staff, including new employees, ensuring knowledge and skill level is appropriate to job duties and functions, particularly with regard to quality service expectations, and cross-selling products and services.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Actively follow up on new and pending accounts and applications processed by self and staff to ensure cross-sell opportunities have been identified and maximized.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Manage employee life cycle events and activities, such as recruiting, feedback and coaching, learning & development, performance feedback, and so on.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Ensure adequate controls are maintained for a wide range of tasks, such as card issuance systems, branch opening/ closing, cash counts, cash, and negotiable instrument controls and processing.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Serve as a Membership Officer responsible for the review, verification, and approval of new accounts.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Provide coverage to designated branch locations per business needs. </span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Perform other tasks as assigned by the leadership team.</span></div><div><br></div><div><span >At First Entertainment, your role and every role are essential to our Mission [We build lifelong financial relationships with the people in entertainment based on a deep understanding of how they live and work], Core Values [ Members First + Ownership + Integrity + Innovation + Inclusivity + One Team], and we expect you to uphold them.</span></div><div><span > </span></div><div><b >Requirements</b></div><div><b > </b></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Reliable means of transportation. </span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >High school graduate, two-year college degree or equivalent preferred, or completion</span><span > </span><span >of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Prior leadership experience as a manager or supervisor is preferred. </span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Notary certification or the ability to become certified within the first 12 months of employment.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >A minimum of two to five years of work-related experience in a full-service financial institution or experience in a related position in a related field. Prefer at least two years of supervisory or lead employee experience.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >In-depth knowledge of Credit Union products and services, procedures and guidelines, and field of membership requirements.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Thorough knowledge of regulations applicable to essential responsibilities. Ability to read, speak, and write clearly to convey information effectively.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Effective communication skills across all levels of audience.</span></div><div><span >·</span><span > </span><span >Knowledge of how to use a personal computer and MS Office products on a daily basis (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Symitar for Windows (Episys).</span></div><div><br></div>
