Who are you?
Nativo is looking for a rock star individual to join as an Accounting Manager within our Finance & Accounting team. You will be part of a dynamic environment that supports interdepartmental collaboration, fuels creativity and provides you with an opportunity to take ownership and play an intricate part in our company’s success.

Core/Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end close process; co-lead US close process
• Prepare Consolidated Financial Statements and Variance Analysis
• Prepare US Financial Statements and Variance Analysis
• Reconcile Payroll on a monthly basis
• Track off-balance sheet transactions (e.g. lease obligations
• Review US Bank Reconciliation on a monthly basis
• Review all Revenue/Payroll/Equity Journal Entries on a monthly basis
• Manage Shared Services – AR Invoicing, Treasury (cash collections), and Payroll
• Assist with Regulatory Compliance – Annual Tax, 1099, 409a, and Payroll Tax requirements
• Support external service providers in compiling local GAAP financial statements, local statutory reporting and completing audits through preparation of work papers, information gathering, and data analysis
• Act as key point of contact for all international reporting
• Continue the evolution of the ERP system with automation to help the organization scale, allowing for good reporting and ensures strong internal controls

Systems and Compliance:

• Co-own ADP, Expensify, Platform, UBER, Lyft and NetSuite
• Help develop information system controls and general internal controls with the Director of Finance and Controller
• Help develop Nativo Corporate policies as it relates to shared services
• Help develop Internal Accounting Guidance with the Director of Finance and Controller

Processes:

• Manage Billing Process – Ensure proper revenue items are billed and reconciled to the platform
• Execute Expense Process – Review employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with Nativo expense policy
• Manage and Execute Payroll Process – ensure compliance with relevant state and federal laws when processing payroll

What you need:

• BS/BA is required; CPA a plus
• Minimum of 1+ years hands-on accounting managerial experience
• 4 to 6 years of accounting experience
• Advanced Excel Skills required (sumifs, countifs, and cube)
• Must have knowledge of Financial Systems – NetSuite/QuickBooks/Workday/Oracle/SAP
• Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required
• Must work well under pressure, exhibit excellent organizational abilities, set and meet deadlines, be confident in managing several priorities in a day; must be dependable, adaptable, creative, and self-motivated
• Must be detail and results-oriented, as well as able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment; adaptability & flexibility are key
• Ability to manage multiple projects and requests
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
