The Fullsteam Accounting team is seeking a Accountant, Payments and Platform Services Revenue with the ability to thrive in a high growth and fast paced environment. This role is responsible for preparing the billing for Ancillary services and performing reconciliations of Payments activity for our Fullsteam Payments process in both the US and Canada.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate, terminate, review, and send invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Ensure adherence to billing schedules and deadlines.

  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.

  • Maintain an understanding of the end-to-end payment processing transaction lifecycle, including system architecture, execution, reconciliation, and error handling.​

  • Prepare the payments terminal revenue bills and account for inventory for the point-of-sale (POS) terminals.

  • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and ensure reconciling items are resolved in a timely manner.

  • Develop and maintain documentation for payment processes and procedures.​

  • Execute month-end close tasks including preparing journal entries in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Assist external auditors during interim and annual audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support related to revenue recognition practices and financial transactions.

  • Assist with audit compliance documentation as necessary.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Ability to reconcile accounts in detail and follow-up on open items.

  • Advanced Microsoft Skills required.

  • Superior interpersonal skills including effective oral and written communication.

  • Proven ability to focus on details and stay organized while managing multiple priorities.

  • Strong collaboration partner with team members and external partners.

  • Process focus that can solve problems and look for more efficient ways to complete tasks.

  • Independent worker that can complete assignments with tight deadlines.

  • Comfortable with a high level of change in their work as the company grows and evolves.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in corporate accounting.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

  • NetSuite experience preferred.

Remote with the need to attend meetings periodically as needed in our Atlanta or Auburn Corporate offices. Advance notice will be given for any travel required.
