Senior Accountant
FloQast is looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Senior Accountant to join its growing team in Los Angeles, CA. This position requires excellent communication, an ability to think critically and creatively, attention to detail, a team-oriented attitude and a love of accounting.

Responsibilities Include:
AR / Billing: Enter sales orders, file customer contracts, review revenue plans, maintain customer billing and metrics schedules, collections, prepare and send customer invoices.
AP / Purchasing: Record AP invoices and vendor payments, review and process employee expense reports, review AP aging and agree to the general ledger.
Compensation: Review commission statements and bonuses, prepare payroll submission.
Month end: Prepare standard journals, accruals and reconciliations.
Tax / Compliance: Assist with tax and statutory filings.
Treasury: Banking requirements and Daily cash management and weekly forecasting - Maintenance and revisions of the forecast model and budget to actual analysis.
Any other accounting related responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
Desired Qualities and Skills:
2+ years experience in public accounting (assurance) at a national firm (Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Deloitte, Grant Thornton, BDO, Crowe Horwath, McGladrey / RSM, CBIZ, BDK, Moss Adams, UHY)
Bachelor's degree required, Accounting major preferred
CPA, or CPA candidate
Solid understanding of GAAP
Positive and enthusiastic team player with a collaborative orientation
Extremely organized and detail oriented with strong problem-solving and decision making skills
Commitment to self-improvement and success
Strong sense of ownership and urgency, organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
