Account Supervisor, Branding & Marketing

Role Overview
We are seeking a senior Account Supervisor to lead integrated branding and marketing programs for a portfolio of clients within a public relations agency environment. This is a deeply client-facing role for a proactive, strategic leader who thrives on accountability, momentum, and results. The Account Supervisor is the central partner to the client and the internal driver who ensures every initiative moves forward intelligently, efficiently, and with purpose.

This role is not executional. It is about ownership, orchestration, and performance. You are responsible for ensuring that all branding, marketing, and communications efforts are aligned, integrated, and delivering real value for the client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client partner across branding and marketing engagements
  • Lead and oversee branding initiatives including brand refreshes, logos, visual identity systems, voice, and tone
  • Manage website strategy, creation, and ongoing updates in collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Oversee paid media and email marketing efforts from a strategic and client management perspective without direct execution
  • Ensure all client channels including PR, branding, paid media, email, influencer marketing, and events are integrated, cohesive, and strategically sound
  • Coordinate influencer marketing programs and ensure alignment with broader brand and business objectives
  • Support planning and oversight of brand-related events and activations
  • Own timelines, scopes, deliverables, and communication to keep work moving forward without friction
  • Act as the internal quarterback, aligning teams, surfacing risks early, and solving problems before they reach the client
  • Proactively identify opportunities to elevate client programs, improve performance, and deepen partnerships

Who Thrives in This Role

  • Proactive and forward-thinking, always anticipating what clients need next
  • Thoughtful and strategic, able to connect day-to-day work to larger business goals
  • Results-oriented and performance-driven, with a strong bias toward execution and accountability
  • Client-obsessed, constantly looking for new, smarter ways to deliver value and exceed expectations
  • A natural problem solver who thinks creatively, removes obstacles, and moves projects forward
  • Comfortable operating in complexity and making smart decisions without perfect information

Qualifications

  • 7 to 10+ years of account management experience within an integrated marketing, advertising, or public relations agency
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing and how branding, PR, digital, influencer, and events work together
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills paired with strategic judgment
  • Confident communicator with strong client presence and leadership instincts
  • Agency experience is required

Why This Role Matters
This role is central to client success and retention. It is designed for someone who takes pride in being accountable, strategic, and relentlessly focused on outcomes. If you are the kind of account leader who treats every client’s business like your own and knows how to turn complexity into momentum, this role was built for you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
