Job Summary
As an Account Director, Universal Ads, you will focus exclusively on driving new demand across search agencies, merchant aggregators, and SMB performance marketers, introducing them to the power of Connected TV through Universal Ads. This is a highly entrepreneurial role within Comcast Advertising, sitting at the intersection of performance marketing and television. You'll be responsible for identifying new partners, educating the market, and helping advertisers transition from social and search to CTV as a proven performance channel. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams across Sales, GTM, Product, Enablement, and Marketing to ensure your clients experience the full value of the Universal Ads platform- from onboarding to optimization.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
  • Drive adoption of the Universal Ads self-service CTV platform among performance-driven agencies, aggregators, and SMB advertisers in verticals where CTV delivers measurable results (e.g., home services, marketplaces, and DTC brands).
  • Prospect and close new business opportunities through outreach, discovery, and tailored platform demos.
  • Educate and consult agencies and advertisers on how to leverage Universal Ads for customer acquisition, lead generation, and measurable ROI.
  • Partner with the Enablement and Product Solutions teams to ensure new clients are successfully onboarded and set up for success.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key agency decision-makers, helping them integrate CTV into their clients' existing performance marketing mix.
  • Provide market feedback to internal stakeholders to inform roadmap, GTM strategy, and packaging for SMB and performance-focused verticals.
  • Track and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline growth, active advertisers, and revenue pacing.
  • Represent Universal Ads and Comcast Advertising at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of direct selling experience in programmatic, self-service CTV, or digital performance advertising (search, social, or display).
  • Strong understanding of the performance marketing ecosystem, including search agencies, aggregators, and SMB advertisers.
  • Proven track record of prospecting, generating leads, and closing new business.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate a large, matrixed organization like Comcast Advertising.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate client objectives into measurable outcomes.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience selling or supporting SMB advertisers or agencies focused on performance outcomes.
  • Familiarity with CTV, programmatic media, or DSP platforms.
  • Ability to synthesize market feedback and contribute to product and go-to-market evolution.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $136,795.74 - $205,193.61
Additional Range: This job can be performed in California, and Illinois with a Pay Range of $119,696.27 - $205,193.61
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Targeted Commission: $100,000.00
Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
