We’re looking for a detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and self-motivated 340B Program expert to join our team on a remote, part-time basis. This role offers flexibility, independence, and the chance to make a real impact by helping covered entities navigate the evolving 340B landscape.

You’ll work with a team that values precision, integrity, and collaboration, while bringing your own expertise to client audits, compliance efforts, and process optimization.

What You’ll Do
Audit & Compliance Activities
  • Conduct independent monthly audits of 340B program activity, applying risk-based criteria to review transactions across inpatient and retail channels.
  • Examine provider records and EHR documentation to confirm eligibility, patient qualifications, and appropriate drug use under 340B rules.

  • Create clear, concise audit summaries that highlight findings and drive corrective actions where needed.
Team Engagement & Knowledge Development
  • Join regular team check-ins and contribute to group problem-solving and best practice sharing.
  • Stay current with HRSA guidance, OPAIS updates, state Medicaid carve-in/out changes, and industry trends.
  • Support the creation of internal tools, documentation standards, and client education materials.
  • Assist with drafting or refining 340B policies and procedures based on your experience and audit findings.
Our Expectations
  • You bring at least 3 to 5 years of direct 340B experience, in compliance, auditing, purchasing, or consulting roles.
  • You're comfortable working with 340B software platforms, Excel spreadsheets, and large datasets.
  • You understand the contract pharmacy model, split-billing systems, and the broader healthcare compliance environment.
  • You’re a strong communicator—capable of translating audit findings into client-friendly insights and next steps.
  • You’re proactive, detail-focused, and thrive in a role where you can work independently and take ownership.
Additional Notes
  • You'll begin the 340B Advanced Certificate Program within your first 3 months and complete it within 9 months of hire if you do not current possess this certification.
  • Occasional travel may be requested for events, client visits, or conferences.
Work Environment
  • 100% remote, part-time with flexible scheduling.
  • Ideal for professionals seeking meaningful, project-based work that blends autonomy with team support.
Desired Experience and Education
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience working within 340B program operations.
  • Strong background in pharmaceutical purchasing, inventory management, or related supply chain functions.
  • Prior experience in roles focused on 340B compliance, auditing, or program oversight.
  • Familiarity with at least one split-billing software platform.
  • Solid understanding of contract pharmacy workflows and third-party administrator (TPA) coordination.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare systems, electronic health records (EHR), and 340B program fundamentals.
  • Awareness of relevant state and federal regulations governing 340B and associated billing procedures.
  • Comfortable delivering findings and recommendations to senior leadership, including C-suite executives.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Pharmacy technician or pharmacist credentials are a plus.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
