Verifi’s Los Angeles office has expanded once again! We have occupied the third floor in our high rise building in the heart of the Miracle Mile. I sat down with Chris Manley, Project Manager as he was managing the move to get some insight into the project. He told me that the construction took about three and a half months to complete. Matt Katz, CEO and Sara Craven, COO & General Counsel were the executive sponsors of the project. Chris said that Matt was very specific about what he envisioned. The design concepts for the new space were meant to be very “park like” with green grass-like flooring, and lots of plants. The Zuma conference room is also draped with a tree backdrop to create the nature-like ambiance. The conference room table doubles as a Ping Pong table, which everyone has already been enjoying! There are also huge bean bag chairs and open areas for people to chill out when on a break or if they need a change of scenery to work in. Sticking with the active, outdoor theme, there are a number of treadmill desks and cycling desks where folks from any floor can come down and use to get their heart rate up while working. Our other floors are also under construction for some new additions and beautification! We are creating a game room in the area next to the main kitchen with a huge simulator to play all types of sports (golf, football, baseball etc.). The 25th floor will also be renovating a number of offices to become smaller meeting rooms for the teams. The departments on this floor will be solely Product and Technology. We are hiring Product and Technology folks at a rapid rate and intend to fill up the space soon. Chris said the construction on the 25th floor is slated to be completed around mid-November. We are excited to have a fun bright new space with more enhancements!!
