Pathmatics secures $3M in fresh funds for its marketing intelligence platform

Gabe Gottlieb and Tom Lorimor founded Pathmatics in 2011, and ever since, the company has been consistent in its mission to bring transparency to digital marketing and the media buying process.

And now, it has secured $3 million in funding from U.K.-based marketing agency Mintel Group Ltd. and SPH Ventures to move the needle a little further. The funding is earmarked to go toward investments in partnerships, marketing and product development.

Pathmatics’ marketing intelligence platform provides data insights to advertisers looking for a deeper understanding of what is going on with their ads, including information on industry-wide ad data, trend analysis, industry research and historical data.

“Marketers are under increasing pressure to prove the value of their digital and social ad spend, and we’ve created a solution to help them make the best decisions in an increasingly fragmented and complex digital media landscape,” Gabe Gottlieb, CEO and co-founder of Pathmatics, said in an email to Built In LA.

Since its launch, Pathmatics has been rewarded for its dedication to transparency. The company has seen a 100 percent growth in sales for the last three years and boasts having more than 100 direct clients. With over 50 employees, the rapidly growing company has also almost doubled headcount in the last two years.

And they aren’t slowing down, as Pathmatic has plans to invest in recruiting efforts.

The company has raised $4.7 million to date, according to Crunchbase.
