The dating scene has quite literally been disrupted by technology, and LA has established itself as an epicenter for dating apps. Stop by General Assembly in Santa Monica tonight for a talk with Amanda Bradford, CEO and founder of The League, an intriguing SF-based dating app that uses data from Facebook and LinkedIn to offer more privacy and context for users. Joining Bradford will be J. Galen Buckwalter, Cheif Science Officer at psyML (formerly CSO at eHarmony) and Jeff Morris Jr., Director of Product Management - Revenue at Tinder.

National Hike with a Geek Day, June 20 all day.

Ask a person in LA what they like to do in their free time, and they're more than likely to say how much they enjoy hiking. Blogologues: the internet onstage, June 24 at 8 p.m.

Blogologues is back this Saturday with an hour-long sketch comedy show bringing to life some amazing Tinder exchanges, Yelp reviews, Craigslist posts and more. According to The Villae Voice, co-creators Allison Goldberg and Jen Jamula are ten of the funniest people in NYC — just don't hold their geographical loyalties against them.
