Business Development Specialist (REMOTE)

We're Looking For A: Business Development Specialist who will be responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities to enhance the Business Development/Partnership team's efforts and ultimately boost company revenue. This role involves initiating and cultivating relationships with key agencies, affiliates, direct publishers, and ad networks. Additionally, the Specialist will handle the onboarding process for new accounts across the Affiliate, Business Development, and Direct Buy Teams, ensuring a smooth transition before passing the account to the Affiliate Account Manager.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the Business Development team in identifying and negotiating new opportunities, encompassing agencies, networks, flat fee/CPA/revshare placements, both international and domestic, and non-digital avenues.
- Build relationships with new agencies and affiliates to enhance performance and explore additional advertising options.
- Negotiate fees, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of flat fee, CPA, CPM, and revshare placements.
- Establish and manage direct relationships with publishers and networks, negotiate contracts, and successfully launch campaigns.
- Validate and test new traffic, facilitating smooth onboarding for Account Managers by providing comprehensive knowledge of various media buying strategies.
- Oversee day-to-day onboarding activities for new accounts, collaborating with offer managers, tech, copywriting, and creative teams to optimize performance.
- Implement optimization strategies, including negotiating placements and testing different funnels, to maximize overall campaign performance.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis using tools such as Supermetrics, Big Query, and Excel, focusing on metrics like CTR, CVR, AOV, and LTV.
- Initiate and sustain relationships from their inception, aiming to establish new revenue streams for the company.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don't tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Proficient in utilizing server-to-server tracking platforms, including implementation of passback when required (e.g., Everflow, Salesforce).
- Competent in tracking and analyzing data, monitoring key performance indicators such as ROAS, AOV, LTV, and ad spends.
- Demonstrates creative, intuitive, and out-of-the-box thinking to address challenges and optimize strategies.
- Capable of building trust and nurturing partner relationships to facilitate collaboration and mutual success.
- Highly time-oriented and efficient in managing tasks and responsibilities.
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Extremely data-oriented, able to obtain relevant information with limited supervision.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced digital environment, showcasing resilience and flexibility.
- 3 years of experience in paid media marketing, account management and/or digital acquisition marketing.
- Strong knowledge of affiliate marketing and/or e-commerce marketing.
- Experience navigating AdNetwork interfaces including Facebook and Google
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Docs, and PowerPoint
- Working experience with SQL preferred
- Experience with Linear, CTV, Radio and attribution preferred
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Advertising or other relevant field preferred

The anticipated salary range for this position is $62,500 - $83,400, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
