About the Role  |  Performance Media Buyer

Rickhouse Media is looking for a Performance Media Buyer who can be an integral part and a driving force in scaling their services to additional clients as they grow. The Performance Media Buyer should be willing to engage remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Work with some of the fastest-growing disruptor companies (ex: Allbirds, Square, Grubhub) on creating media buying campaigns that are on brand and acquire customers effectively and efficiently.
Fill a critical role on the Performance Strategy team, collaborating with analysts to understand how prior and ongoing performance should influence creative.
Deliver results and related reporting analysis for ongoing paid social campaigns.
Develop creative test structure plans with analysts
Build and launch ads
Optimize ads to drive results, landing at- or under-KPI goal while scaling spend
Provide regular performance reporting for internal & external stakeholders
Work with the Director of Performance Strategy to design & implement account-specific tactical optimization tests to continually find new ways to improve performance
Be our in-house media-buyer

The Qualifications

Proven success in direct response performance marketing, specifically media buying (at least 2 years) on campaigns with budgets over $100k/month
Ability to help author strategic growth plans for clients.
Track record of effective analytics reporting.
Ability to manage multiple projects for multiple clients.
Ability to give and receive critical feedback in a small team environment.

Must-have requirements:

Minimum of 2+ years of paid social media buying experience (Facebook preferred, but Snapchat & Tiktok considered).
Past management of 6-figure monthly budgets.
Knowledge of or proven appetite for cutting-edge disruptor startup buying strategies and trends; demonstrated track record of actively pursuing learning in this area.
Advanced knowledge of social media formats is a must.
Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.

Preferred requirements:

Performance agency experience.
Understanding of today’s media landscape and how people engage with social media advertising.
Google Advertising media buying experience
