Our algorithms allows users to quickly find the best lists based on their location, time of day, and their interest graphs...not based on reviews from the masses.   Our company is growing rapidly and we are looking for rockstars to join the family.  

Who We’re Looking For:

WannaGo is looking for a VP of Marketing to come in and take over the overall marketing for the company.  This position reports directly to the CEO.  This person needs to be entrepreneurial at heart and understand what it means to work at an early stage startup.  Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in driving user acquisition in a mobile and social platform.  You will bring your experience of what works and apply your proven methods to help us reach our goals!

What you will do:

  • Develop overall marketing plan that includes: Paid acquisition, SEO/SEM, affiliate marketing, content marketing, and other acquisition strategies
  • Make data-informed decisions around generating demand, activating customers and driving product usage, in order to improve results through continuous testing and refinement strategies
  • Know the funnel inside and out: track the way new users interact in our app and iterate to maximize DAU/MAU
  • Testing new acquisition marketing channels with the objective of finding new profitable channels 
  • Design effective email programs to reach and nurture users at each stage of the funnel
  • Working with the product team to identify features that improve effective customer acquisition.
  • Develop Content marketing strategies around blogs, videos, and email
  • Analytics and more analytics….you will be responsible to review, analyze, and make recommendations based on mobile analytics. 
  • Work cross-functionally with product, tech, and executive team to achieve results

 Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 5 years experience in digital marketing
  • Experience in Mobile/Social Platforms
  • Direct experience with paid acquisition channels of Instagram and Facebook
  • Startup experience a must
  • Strong analytical skills and passion for using data to drive growth 
  • Knowledge of mobile performance marketing sector
  • Tactical experience working with digital channels (email, paid, social, search)
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit, team player and ability to get things done 
  • Passion for social media and influencer marketing 
  • Likes to Eat and Travel and is considered a Foodie is a plus
  • Bachelors Degree or MBA in Marketing/Business
  • Bonus: great rolodex in the tech and startup space
