JOB SUMMARY

Visual Designers are aesthetics experts that focus on the creation and refinement of polished art assets through a variety of modern digital techniques and mediums (Typography, 3D, Illustration, Digital Drawing/Painting, Photography, Retouching, etc). Working alongside Conceptual Creatives and Interactive Designers, Visual Designers are accountable for delivering creatively approved art elements (such as key art, look-and-feel, illustrations, and look-and-feels) for brand campaigns.

To accomplish this task, Visual designers function organizationally within the Design Department (reporting to the Director of the Design Department) while operating within project-based teams alongside Creative and Technology in order to develop thoughtful and inspiring visuals that delight audiences and exceed client expectations.

Where Conceptual Creatives (like Art Directors) aim to invent strategic creative solutions to marketing challenges, Visual Designers set out to bring those solutions to life with smart and inspiring visuals that excite clients, audiences, and internal development teams. A great Visual Designer exists more as a creative partner than an executional wrist - contributing critical thinking and insights born from their specialized expertise. They are perceived as an invaluable resource, able to contribute visuals that are creative, clean, functional, and on-brand with minimal internal course correction. They nimbly support projects from concepting and pitching through to development and delivery.
