Summary:

Procore’s Vice President, Global Sales Development is responsible for global pipeline growth; leading multiple business development teams (over 100+ individuals and growing) to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual quota goals. Candidates must be driven to excel in a management role while hiring, mentoring, developing and leading high performing business development teams. An ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment, is excited to be a key component in Procore’s continued growth, and will drive a high performance, high accountability culture to meet and exceed business development goals.

This position is based at our headquarters in Carpinteria, CA on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage all aspects of global sales development strategy, segmentation, and expansion
  • Oversee Global Sales Development team to develop and qualify opportunities, resulting in high velocity pipeline generation
  • Manage, grow, develop and scale the following teams: Enterprise Business Development, Business Development, Market Response Group
  • Attract, hire, and retain business development professionals through multiple recruiting channels
  • Drive a performance culture
  • Implement, improve, and maintain best practices throughout business development teams
  • Provide training and support to your team to better understand their role, Procore’s products (industry, market, proposition), and best practices for inbound interest and outbound prospecting
  • Ensure your team consistently leverages Procore’s sales methodologies to source, qualify, and transition opportunities as quickly, efficiently, and independently as possible
  • Regularly conduct call reviews and coaching sessions with team members
  • Work closely with sales managers and representatives to ensure lead quality, quantity, and proper follow up; align pipeline product to needs of sales organization
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting on team’s performance as well as accurate forecasts to sales leadership based on performance and historical trends
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate cross functionally with: Sales Operations to establish reports and dashboards to provide visibility into BDR activities; Marketing to define campaign follow up and reporting; Recruiting to meet hiring needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience
  • 5+ years in software sales (preferably in SaaS environment)
  • 3+ years management experience in a business development environment
  • Track record in hiring, developing, and promoting direct reports
  • Proven experience prospecting via cold calling, email, and social selling
  • Experience using and implementing a sales methodology
  • Consistent track record of 100%+ quota achievement as an individual contributor
  • Superior time management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce
