Procore is seeking a Vice President of Global Corporate Communications and Content Strategy to join our team in Carpinteria, CA. This position is an opportunity to develop and guide Procore’s corporate narrative, and position the company as a global leader in software that builds the world. The position will develop and execute the overall strategic communications strategy and serve as a primary source of content that supports our core business objectives and drives the buyer’s journey.

What you'll do:

You will set the news agenda for the company where corporate reputation, thought leadership, public policy and industry trends are strategically managed to drive brand awareness. Increasingly, this leader will be charged with looking around the corner to execute strategic campaigns that result in a continuous corporate narrative across multiple earned, owned, shared and paid media channels. You will be adept at prioritization and providing strategic counsel on corporate programs while driving collaboration and coordination across the global communications organization.

In this position you will provide strategic and tactical direction to the internal communications team, social team, The Jobsite team (which consists of in-house and outsourced writers), media relations team, customer advocacy and community team, and the international marketing teams (Canada and ANZ), and over time this will grow into managing other regions.

You will be able to implement actionable plans quickly and place an emphasis on program measurement and quantifiable impact. You will need to quickly set clear priorities, objectives and deliverables on key initiatives with the team and agency partners, driving them through to execution. You will counsel senior executives on critical communications issues. You must be a change agent and strategic thinker who can anticipate and capitalize on opportunities and mitigate potential threats. 

You understand modern revenue marketing metrics, strong writing and communication skills, superior organization and the ability to run many teams worldwide. You must be a voracious learner who can demonstrate a natural understanding of technology and a love for the industry of construction. Your strong management skills have the ability to manage and inspire an innovative team in a hyper-growth environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Work with leadership and the marketing team to formulate, manage and execute an integrated content strategy and communications plan.
  • You are a storyteller and can represent the voice of Procore.
  • Serve as managing editor and oversee the production of the firm's communications and content.
  • Generate a PR strategy that highlights our unique position as the innovative leader in construction.
  • Ensure the implementation of corporate messaging in marketing, communications and branding projects to maximize brand exposure, strengthen brand equity and maintain consistency of corporate messaging.
  • Regularly evaluate communications effectiveness and implement new approaches/strategies to improve engagement.
  • Polished writing skills to generate a variety of content to support the corporate narrative (we all get our hands dirty).
  • Work with your social team to develop 2018 and beyond social media campaigns
  • Manage communications budget.
  • Manage marketing teams in Australia and Canada
