THE COMPANY:

Beautycon Media began as a festival business four years ago and has since grown into a successful e-commerce subscription box business, while at the same time forging its way into the media space. Our goal is to create meaningful connections challenging the status quo while creating a “community” destination for all. Profiled in major outlets such as The New York Times, Fast Company, Mashable, Digiday, MTV, and Bustle as a company to watch, we are expanding quickly and strategically and are looking for entrepreneurial-minded individuals who have a proven track record of success in the start up environment to develop and oversee strategic digital initiatives that span multiple channels.

OVERVIEW:

Beautycon is seeking an experienced Strategic Partnerships AE. The Strategic Partnerships Team at Beautycon is responsible for conceptualizing and executing advertising, sponsorship, and value trade programs that deliver upon revenue and brand-building targets by leveraging commercial assets. 

The Account Executive position will be responsible for coordinating the team on all aspects of the partnerships cycle from, prospecting, researching, crafting presentation materials, and finalizing agreements. This position will assist the Director of Strategic Partnerships in developing customized partnership programs that align with client objectives and enhance the guest experience at global Beautycon Festivals. This role ensures that the Partnerships team is organized, ahead of deadlines and delivering above and beyond expectations. You’ll get to work across Talent, Content, Commerce and Production, to ensure that all areas of the business are being maximized throughout partnerships. You are this team’s anchor and you are awesome at getting the job done quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

* Lead in-kind trade partnership efforts for Global Beautycon Festivals inclusive of prospecting, researching, presenting, negotiating and finalizing the agreements.

* Help assist and craft partnership narratives and proposals for tier-one integrated partnerships opportunities.

*Oversee and organize end-to-end client deliverables for top tier partnerships opportunities.

* Create/Manage project timelines and deliverables.

*Work with cross-functional teams to drive Beautycon’s vision throughout all partnership efforts.

*Manage cross-departmental work flow and reporting.

*Package deliverables for client including updates and wrap reports.

*Reply to client inquiries that have questions, and communicating relevant information in a timely and professional manner.

*Manage all aspects of the delivery of a partnership contract from talent, content, social, tickets, gifting and production.

*Set weekly cross-departmental meeting agendas.

*Take notes in all meetings and work with Director of Strategic Partnerships to initiate follow-up, action points and next steps.

*Ensure all deadlines are met and communication across Beautycon team is streamlined and efficient.

*Follow up with all departments for updates and answers needed for client, as well as getting approval on updates.

*Work with Director to educate PR team on all partnerships that implicate a larger press opportunity.

Requirements:

- BA/BS degree

- 3+ years successful experience in Marketing and Communications, with a proven track record of closing and managing strategic partnership relationships

- Event production experience is a strong plus.

- Understanding of digital sales landscape to effectively take on in-kind partnership trade deals.

- Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.

- Background in packaging media and content a plus.

- Track record of relationships with top fashion, beauty, technology, media and music brands.

- Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.

- Must be a team player with a commitment to relationship building, both internal and external.

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and discretion with sensitive client information.

- Willingness to travel.

- Willingness to entertain clients during events, evenings, and occasional weekends.
