Stock Plan Administrator

We’re looking for a Stock Plan Administrator to join Snap Inc! You’ll play a key role in supporting Snap Inc.’s global equity incentive programs, with a focus on global tax compliance and regulations. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with super smart colleagues throughout the company to develop creative solutions to problems. What you’ll do:
- Assist with maintaining database integrity, and ensure record keeping accuracy of employee data and equity data
- Support the Corporate Legal team in processing new equity awards and distribution of online grant agreements
- Process daily option exercises, ensuring accurate and timely tax withholding, reporting, and delivery of shares
- Provide excellent customer service to equity participants at all levels and to partners throughout Snap Inc., responding quickly to employee questions in a courteous manner
- Assist in the preparation and processing of restricted stock unit releases, including coordinating accurate tax withholding and reporting with Global Payroll, Corporate Tax, Accounting, and Treasury, and delivery of shares with the transfer agent and captive broker
- Assist in reviewing and tracking newly adopted 10b5-1 trading agreements and coordinating with brokerages on trade details
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly reconciliation of records between Human Resources, Payroll, Accounting, and transfer agent
- Work with internal and external auditors and a worldwide Finance team for quarterly reviews, year-end audits, as well as ensure that internal SOX controls and procedures are followed
- Generate recurring reports and respond timely to ad hoc data requests from business partners
- Help to manage equity procedures and calendars, and ensure all information remains current and consistent
- Help develop equity materials, presentations, and employee communications, contribute ideas, hold office hours, and assist with employee education programs
- Support corporate governance and administration, including preparing corporate resolutions, administering corporate records, and executing stock transfers
- Assist with special corporate projects, including compliance, tax, and securities law matters
- Handle other projects at the direction of the General Counsel
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with excellent academic credentials, an emphasis in Finance or Accounting strongly preferred
- 3+ years of stock administration experience
- Experience with U.S. federal and state taxation relating to equity compensation and general knowledge of global taxation of equity compensation
- Outstanding analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, and ability to manage multiple matters
- Detail-oriented, business-friendly team player with an ability to accommodate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- A whip smart person who doesn’t take themselves too seriously
