OVERVIEW

The Senior Designer, Digital at Dollar Shave Club, Inc. (DSC) is responsible for creating and developing original digital product designs for their assigned squad. Critical to the success of achieving DSC’s digital roadmap, this role requires an innovative, strong and experienced designer to lead the delivery of high-quality, conceptually-oriented and executionally-strong, product designs.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create original, high-quality, brand-defining and enhancing digital product designs.
• Effectively execute end-to-end conception, design and development of digital product design output.
• Effectively collaborate with squad members and stakeholders to ensure all digital product deliverables are on-brand, meet and support strategic goals, launch on time and on budget.
• Create deliverables including decks, comps, specifications, prototypes and motion studies.
• Provide visual and functional feedback to ensure the final product meets our quality standards.
• Gain approval and set expectations with key stakeholders and leadership.
• Steward and facilitate design feedback from original conception to final execution.
• Clearly present, advocate and defend design directions and ideas — ensuring it meets the strategy and brief.

 

REQUIREMENTS

• • Creatively and conceptually-oriented with systematic thinking.
• Strong presentation skills: ability to deliver design ideas effectively and efficiently.
• A proven track record and demonstrated portfolio of diverse and leading digital design.
• Hands-on expertise and track record as an individual contributor.
• Excellent craft: meticulous attention to details and knowledge of design techniques, technology and processes.
• Ability to manage the completion of tasks within a set and reasonable timeline.
• Desire to succeed in an ambitious, innovative and entrepreneurial environment.
• Conceptual branding and systematic thinking required.
• 5+ years of Design/Agency experience required.
• Formal training in Design or related studies.
