About the opportunity

When new customers sign up for ServiceTitan, we first migrate their existing data from their current software solution to the ServiceTitan platform. Because of the high value of the data, this step plays a monumental role in determining the customer's eventual success with the ServiceTitan experience. As a Data Import Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing tools and scripts that help migrate data to ServiceTitan.

We're looking for talented developers familiar with SQL and .NET that are looking to join an agile, productive, and fast-growing team that is developing a cutting edge platform for the home services industry and making an extraordinary difference in customers’ lives.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

• A solid experience with SQL and relational databases (ideally, Microsoft SQL Server / TransactSQL)
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.)
• Familiarity with .NET, C#, and common web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, etc.)
• Other strong signals (good track record, contributions to open source projects, nice results on contests) would be a plus.

A minimum is:

• 3+ years of software development experience or database administration
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Please note that an ability to manage your own time to deliver results on a very predictable basis is essential for this position: data migration / import is one of the key steps in our onboarding process, so any unexpected and uncommunicated delays might lead to a negative customer experience from the very beginning -- and this is something we definitely want to avoid.
