Procore is hiring for our 2018 summer internship program for students interested in web development. Our program is performance based, with the potential for a full-time position. 

An internship at Procore is a combination of learning and working on a team. At Procore you will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of technologies – and learn Ruby on Rails and ReactJS. You will also be given the opportunity to write and ship code for production, give and receive code review, and determine what skills you'll need to start a career as a Web Engineer.

The most exciting thing you have access to is our staff. Not only will you have mentors dedicated to help guide you through the process of learning/using the appropriate tools of the trade, you will be encouraged to work alongside and pair with engineers who write code every day!

At the end of the internship you will be able to:

• Ship valuable software to real customers
• Use Git and Github 
• Refactor code
• Use a Universal Development Environment
• Write tests
• Program for readability
• Understand the importance of REST
• Communicate effectively with all departments in a rapidly growing SaaS company

…and many other core skills that you can't learn from a book, in class, or online. Our dedication to education is something we cherish and will never abandon, and it starts with this internship.

What we’re looking for:

• Juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Previous web development experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for programming, solving problems, and learning
