Procore Technologies is hiring for our internship program for candidates interested in Android application development. This position is based at our headquarters on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Carpinteria.

An internship at Procore is a combination of learning and working on a team. At Procore you will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of technologies – and learn Java. You will also be given the opportunity to write and ship code for production; understand the importance of code review, and determine what skills you'll need to start a career as a Software Developer.

You will:

• Build new features for our Android application
• Use Git and Github
• Refactor code
• Use a shared Development Environment
• Write tests
• Work in large existing code bases
• Program for readability
• Communicate effectively with all departments in a rapidly growing SaaS company

What we’re looking for:

• Juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with Java
• Previous Android development is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for programming, solving problems, and learning
