Gradient X is looking for talented and highly motivated software engineers to help us design and build a scalable, high-performance mobile ad serving platform able to handle billions of transactions per day. This position will present many interesting technical challenges to solve in the areas of distributed computing, high-performance computing, and high availability.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance distributed storage systems
• Design and implement ad serving systems designed for high availability and high performance
• Work on a mobile ad serving platform that integrates with multiple 3rd party ad servers, carriers, and devices

Required Job Qualifications

• Experience with distributed hashtables, network programming, and data replication
• Strong, disciplined skills in Java, C, or C++
• Development experience on Linux platforms
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Desirable Job Qualifications

• Experience with Riak
• Experience with Thrift and Protocol Buffers
• Experience with Erlang
