What you’ll do:

• Work with team members in agile development environment
  
• Develop and maintain web services APIs and microservices using Golang
  
• Code in a distributed systems architecture using common messaging frameworks such as IPC,queues, caching, and various persistent layers in between
• Implement complex integration workflows between various services
• Maintain performance targets for scalability using instrumentation and monitors in high traffic production environments
• Work with product managers and designers in defining use cases and distill them into stories and epics
• Write unit, functional and integration tests
• Perform code review and other development best practices

What we are looking for:

• Experience designing and implementing service and event based architectures for highly scalable platforms
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in object oriented programming paradigms using major languages such as python, java, C#
• Proven experience integrating multiple services and platforms using RESTful APIs and real time data streams
• Demonstrable experience in distributed systems paradigms using cloud computing constructs and services
• Experience launching and supporting highly scalable web apps (DevOps)
• Comfortable working on front end stack using Reactjs, Angular, Javascript, and HTML
• Experience in using AWS services, Docker, Jenkins, npm, and other tools used in continuous integration and package management
• Advanced skills in programming with RDBMS like MySQL or PostgreSQL and its extensions
• Familiarity with the progressive web app concepts and its integration into the application stack
• Self-motivated and perfection driven attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other STEM fields. Master’s Degree is preferred.
