Position Summary:
You will be a member of the [a•mo•bee] product and technology team that owns ad-serving and trafficking technologies. You will work with the wider department on leading edge advertising, big data, and automation technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Position could be Senior/Team Lead based on candidates level of experience
- Position could be remote for the right candidate
- Develop cutting edge Ad Tech and massive trafficking systems
- Work with industry leading reporting, brand intelligence, and learning systems.
- Participate in the creation and evolution of global scale infrastructure
- Team up with an agile and fast moving team of professionals who drive clean code, good craftsmanship, and mature systems.
- Work with product managers to plans, documentation, estimates, and designs for teams and projects
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math or engineering from an accredited university preferred
- 4+ years developing Java web applications
- 2+ years relational database (MySQL/Postgres)
- Strong Unix/Linux background
- Experience with Java 1.6+
- Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, Hg)
- Worked in an Agile project environment
- Outstanding programming and debugging skills in Java
- Excellent problem solving skill
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Spring, Hibernate and Hadoop are a plus
- Software Architecture experience preferred.
