THE PURPOSE:

The Senior Systems Analyst will be part of the Systems Engineering Division. This team develops the software that will build, integrate, and support Hyperloop One. Ultimately, we will design reliable, scalable, real-time applications that make Hyperloop One a reality. We are seeking candidates with various levels of experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. 

 

THE ROLE:

  • Produce business requirements, system requirements, and use cases.
  • Manage multiple project priorities, deadlines and deliverables.
  • Implement creative solutions to tough problems.
  • Work with Test Managers gather and document data requirements to support test objectives.
  • Lead requirement gathering meetings with stakeholders.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct research into issues and products as required.
  • Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language and visuals.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

 

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or other applicable field.
  • 5+ years in requirements gathering and writing
  • Experience defining, developing, and maintaining functional and system requirements
  • Experience of delivering a large and complex requirements specification from high level business to low level systems
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience using system level requirement management tools (Doors, Innoslate, etc)
  • Experience with regulation and safety groups
