Senior Regional Security Manager

We’re looking for a Senior Regional Security Manager to join Snap Inc! Working closely with the Security team, you will provide leadership and direction on all security and safety functions in your designated geographic region. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with the Security management team to promote a risk-aware culture. You will also work to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices which support the business and are consistent with our culture and policies.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and develop a Physical Security team trained with the core competencies needed to identify and manage risks, as well as effectively lead responses to incidents
- Work effectively with each site’s leadership and other stakeholders such as HR, Finance, IT, and Legal to address security requirements and concerns
- Keep Snap Inc.’s Security leadership and key stakeholders aware of significant developments
- Manage annual operating budget and execute your team’s goals within budget
- Oversee security vendors including onsite guarding services, technology and systems support, and special event security
- Prepare and conduct security and safety training, risk assessments, and regional plans
- Serve as the liaison between peers and local/country security / law enforcement leaders
- Assist with developing physical security plans, security operation procedures, and emergency protocols for new projects in your assigned region
What we’re looking for:
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 7+ years of physical security, risk management, or law enforcement experience, as well as prior work managing physical security and people/vendors
- Experience covering a large, multi-site region
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills
- A proven ability to lead and motivate people, including remote employees
- Strong problem solving ability
- Ability to respond quickly to security, safety, and sensitive situations
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
