As a Senior QA Engineer at GoGuardian, you will have the opportunity to support and help launch new features across multiple teams. You will be responsible for developing and documenting strategies for testing, executing the strategies, and implementing automation. You will also help shape best practices across the company and be an advocate for quality assurance in development. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping our products from the early stages of development. We are looking for someone with fantastic communication skills to be able to provide clear and concise feedback to our teams.

What you'll do:

• Develop and execute tests for new and existing features.
• Provide feedback and insight from a quality assurance standpoint on new features in development.
• Assist in identifying, reproducing, and prioritizing issues reported by consumers.
• Automate testing of our products and help shape our CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform quality assurance duties across multiple teams.

What you'll need:

• 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in leadership roles or proven track record of leadership abilities.
• Comfortable working in the scrum process.
• JIRA or similar issue and project tracking software.
• TestRail or similar test case management software.
• Working knowledge of Javascript.
• Knowledge and history of working with Selenium and Javascript testing frameworks.
• AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud platform knowledge.
• Knowledge on how to implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Datadog, Splunk Cloud, or other monitoring software.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL competence.

It's a bonus if:

• Experience testing in Chromebook environments and Google Classrooms.
• You're passionate about education and/or EdTech.
