The Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis will be responsible for managing Procore's financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function. The role will provide support across all areas of the FP&A function including managing the team of financial planning analysts, interacting with the senior leadership, accurately forecast (including understanding and providing guidance on trends, operational issues, and risks). Candidates must have a proven background of analytical excellence and strong work ethic as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, and work within a team. This role will lead the group responsible for providing timely, accurate reporting and analytics, offer data-driven insights and recommendations, and will drive operational excellence in the financial planning function.

This position is based in our headquarters in Carpinteria, CA. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of FP&A activities with business partners including long-term planning, business modeling, financial close, business reviews, Board Meetings, and other executive presentations
  • Build robust analytical models, tools, and processes and provide superior service to business partners/internal clients
  • Supervising, developing, mentoring, establishing, and reviewing quarterly and annual goals for the broader FP&A organization team in collaboration with the Finance leadership
  • Lead business and finance improvement initiatives to drive better process, transparency, and effectiveness
  • Leading the development, monitoring, and reporting of key operational metrics and driving processes to improve consistent productivity and efficiency improvements
  • Operating among cross-functional teams to analyze and present key financial and strategic issues
  • Play a key role in the company-wide strategic planning, budget and quarterly target-setting processes, including weekly forecasts and key performance monitoring
  • Working with executive management to maintain a long-term plan that incorporates the financial impacts of the company’s strategies and initiatives
  • Playing a role in the ongoing development of business intelligence and budgeting tools
  • Providing support to month-end and quarter-end closing and external reporting processes, including executive level monthly and quarterly performance packages to be utilized by executive management team and Board of Directors
  • Driving daily and weekly internal processes to maintain and improve quarterly financial outlook
  • Performing ad hoc financial analysis to support key business decision

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a publicly traded, academy finance organization with a demonstrated ability to understand profitability drivers and to deliver excellent financial results
  • SaaS experience is preferred
  • A proven track record of process improvement and experience with financial systems and process change initiatives.
  • The ability to thrive in ambiguity and successful change management are critical
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills at senior levels, with the ability to interpret and summarize data to aid management in achieving strategic and operational goals
  • A highly metrics-driven individual with strong analytical abilities
  • Systems savvy and comfortable with date driven environments
  • Ability to manage projects effectively and drive results
  • Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and modeling skills are required
