• Manage large-scale email marketing campaigns from development through execution, analysis, and optimization
• Establish targeting strategies based on behavioral and life-cycle segmentation
• Analyze and track data to maximize the performance of email campaigns to achieve customer acquisition growth goals
• QA campaigns to ensure error free rendering and deployment
• Conduct frequent analysis of competitor programs looking for insights around targeting, promotional offers and cadence/delivery timing
• Be L&W subject matter expert around email design, production development and platform use
• Communicate campaign performance to clients and build a clear road-map for the future
• Build and refine business process to increase channel efficiency
• Coordinate with acquisition, creative and content teams to drive channel growth and to ensure campaigns are in alignment with brand positioning and long-term goals
• Clearly and succinctly communicate campaign results and analyses to leadership

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of technical email marketing experience
• 5-7 years of experience in digital marketing and strong understanding of direct response best practices
• Deep experience with Sailthru and/or other email automation tools
• General understanding of email deliverability and inboxing best practices
• Well versed in HTML and CSS to develop responsive email templates
• Basic to intermediate SQL skills for audience segmentation
• Proven track record of creating, implementing and optimizing complex email programs and drip campaigns to meet business goals
• Experience with working with large data sets and complex analyses
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills required
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
