 The Sr Client Development Manager is a leadership role in our cross-functional client service team. You will be focused on developing identified high profile clients in order to ensure their successful growth for the company.  This role focuses on strategic accounts within the broader portfolio. You mentor other members of the team as well as the client in building and strengthening our client relationships and ensuring that we deliver an exceptional customer experience. Our clients span the globe, so you’ll have the opportunity to work with partners both in the U.S. and abroad . Our mission is to make our clients successful using our platform in order to grow our business.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Manages Strategic Clients with significant revenue impact/opportunity including client meetings, scheduled and unscheduled calls and QBR's
  • Handle emerging situations of varying criticality with tact, demonstrating the ability to align appropriate resources to resolve the issue within Service Level Agreements.
  • Direct interface with senior members of client leadership, operations, program managers and business development.
  • Key responsibility for identifying growth opportunities and mentoring other more junior team members to exploit them for the organization.
  • Participates in Sales Process initiatives as the SME for our platform and products, conveying our business offer with the ability to work through objections easily.
  • Strong ability to influence client and MatchCraft strategies or operations using positioning as trusted advisor, the go to person from which client leadership seeks input prior to acting.
  • Ability to explain to clients and others on the team the choices and implications of program specifications, clearly understands limitations and criticality of certain configuration choices to explain to customer.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing client base ie new products, services and as well as within existing campaigns where unique approaches may be needed.
  • Manage other members of the Client Engagement team as assigned.
    • Interview, train, mentor and coach members of team
    • Provide feedback to team members
    • Input to Performance review process for all members of the team
  • Work with Clients and internal departments to propose, and define workflows for integration into the MatchCraft process,
  • Maintain skillsets by keeping abreast of current best practices in Search, Social and other new Products and readily shares knowledge with others on the team.
  • Manage implementations & on-boarding for new clients
  • Work to improve and redefine work processes to establish consistency across the team and provide scalable repeatable processes, including system improvement suggestions.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for training topics, onboarding activities and various other aspects of the team mission.

 Competencies

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills that communicate succinctly to senior level client executives as well as program managers.
  • A close eye for detail and the ability to see the big picture with ability to link details to the bigger issue
  • Able to multi-task and switch gears quickly, maintaining priorities appropriately
  • Strong data analysis, time management, critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and on deadlines to meet and exceed Service Level Agreements
  • Comfortable working both independently and with teams, particularly large cross-functional groups
  • Detailed knowledge of online marketing, SEM, display advertising and other digital/social products.
  • Maintain skillsets by keeping abreast of current best practices in Search, Social and other new Products including maintaining and expanding certifications and sharing learnings with the team to mentor their development

 Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree (Marketing, Communications, Advertising Preferred)
  • Certification in Adwords and Google Analytics
  • 5-10 years advertising and media industry experience
  • Search Engine Marketing Experience (Google, Bing)
  • Deep Understanding of the Internet Industry and user behavior using search
