The Royalties Accountant will be responsible for all royalties monitoring, control and reporting, and posting general ledger accounting relating to royalties and minimum guarantees. You will be producing accurate and timely Royalty statements in conjunction with Brand Managers, Licensing Managers and third party vendors. The successful candidate will produce timely and accurate accounts for vendors and maintaining accurate and reconciled liabilities for Royalties.

What You'll Do:

• Royalties:
  
  • Calculation of monthly royalties due to suppliers
  • Reconciliation to, and posting of minimum guarantees
  • Management of 300 + licensors maintaining a contract database
  • Communication with Licensors and agreement of fees following completion and submission of Royalty schedules
• Licensing
• Revenue Recognition in a subscription based organization 
• General Ledger accounting
• Accruals
• Prepayments of minimum guarantees relating to licensing
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Variance Analysis
• Prepare and input journal entries.

Qualifications Needed:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar
• 3+ years of post graduation experience
• Previous experience of Royalty Reporting from an end user perspective
• Revenue recognition experience
