Our Retail Team is new to Joybird! As part of our first ever Retail Store Team, you will help carve the path for Joybird’s offline footprint. You will represent the Joybird brand by providing best-in-class support to all of our customers and set the highest bar for customer service. We view retail as an experience: one that is unique, personalized, and fun. You will work at our cutting edge showroom, pop-up events, and mobile/experiential marking initiatives. Your role will be to help our customers feel right at home and help them discover the wonders of furniture made for them.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to every person that walks through our doors or to our events
• Represent our brand: who we are, what we stand for, and what our core values are as a company. It’ll be your job to translate our brand philosophy to customers in person!
• Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and expertise
• Educate customers on all-things-furniture
• Deliver a memorable experience to each and every customer
• Help create and work our in-store marketing events 

Requirements

• Excellent communicator with a passion for people
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
• Comfortable working with all types of customer personalities and excited to engage with them
• Maintains cool under pressure
• An effective and expedient problem-solver with a fastidious attention to detail
• Positive attitude and feels there is no task too small
• Self-starter; entrepreneurial disposition
• Eager to be at the frontline of a fast-paced and growing company
• Loves to talk, loves to learn, loves to listen
• Bachelor's Degree or current college student. Recent grads encouraged to apply!

PLUS (not required)

• Experience working in retail or customer facing environments 
• Any type of design background (e.g interior design, graphic design etc)
