We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. Ideal candidates must have excellent problem solving skills, along with keen attention to detail and outstanding written and oral communication abilities. Responsibilities

Quality Assurance

• Creating end-to-end test plans; executing test plans and managing all testing activities to ensure end-to-end coverage
• Ensuring solutions are tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems
• Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan
• Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
• Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to Product Manager
• Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
• Liaison with development, product management, and customer support
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
• Manage customer support tickets queue
  • Validate and prioritize reported issues
  • Collect information and communicate status as needed to original reporter
  • Ensure tickets are prioritized and resolved in a timely manner

The Candidate

Required skills:

• Create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases
• Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications
• Clear communicator (written and verbal) – to ensure ability to write clear test plans and test cases, and communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders
• Creative problem solving – to understand reported defects from end users, as well as creatively ‘break’ applications during the testing process
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables, and keep test plans and test cases organized
• Experience working directly with development teams on complex technical platforms
• Willingness to learn and expand skills and repertoire
