Programmatic Buyer, Supervisor
ABOUT THE ROLEThe Supervisor will be responsible for the growth and development of a Programmatic Buying team. This role will work with training, providing leadership and guidance to Buyers and Associate Buyers. The training will include platforms, strategies and tactical optimizations within the programmatic space. In addition, the Supervisor will have a smaller book of business that includes priority accounts and account management/optimizations will be required as well.
The Supervisor will also identify and work on special projects that will further the knowledge and experience of the Programmatic Buying Team. These projects will consist of vertical specific, device related, or other industry related opportunities. They will cross functionally work with Supervisor roles within the Media Operations team to further integrate the opportunity of programmatic buys.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and optimize priority accounts while staying engaged on a larger book of business.
- Manage Associate Buyers and Buyers within their team. Specifically providing feedback and leadership to team members to assist in their career and personal growth.
- Train and educate team members across multiple advertising platforms, strategies and optimization tactics.
- Identify areas of improvement and knowledge gaps and lead teams on special projects to improve team’s overall service level.
- Work directly with other internal teams to improve integration and highlight successes.
- Build out hiring metrics and keep growth plan for their specific teams.

- 3+ years in Programmatic Buying Platforms (DSPs, Programmatic Direct, etc.).
- 5+ years in Digital Advertising, active in planning and buying roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, or Economics preferred
- Agency Experience a plus.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including math proficiency
- Experience managing and growing a fast moving team.
- Proactive self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
- Capability to thrive in entrepreneurial environment and start-up atmosphere.
