The Product Development & Innovation team is responsible for managing the development of all things personal care for The Honest Company. Once an idea is approved for development, we work closely with teams across the organization to develop the concept into a tangible, sellable product. We are particularly involved in the formulation portion of the timeline, coordinating with both external and internal parties to ensure we have stable, safe, and effective products.

The Honest Internship Program takes place at our headquarters in Playa Vista. The program will run for 10 weeks from the beginning of June to mid-August, and is a paid, full-time, 40 hours/week program. Interns must be available for the full duration of the internship.

What you’ll do:

• Help execute on various projects in the personal care category
• Coordinate samples needed for safety testing and claim support testing
• Work cross functionally with our Brand Marketing, Planning, Operations, Sourcing, and Sales team
• Work to understand the various stages of a development timeline and help keep projects and tasks on track
• Help to route artwork through the appropriate approvers
