The Procurement Manager will be based in Los Angeles, CA. Responsible to craft, lead and grow our operations that source and manage the elements of our R&D Hyperloop systems. Responsibilities

• Leads the development and execution of a procurement operation including purchasing, shipping, receiving
• Wears multiple hats in our startup environment and has the vision and drive to build a new department
• Hires and supervises associated staff and coordinates daily duties and long term projects
• Develops our near term Manufacturing Execution System
• Consolidates the procurement priorities from a matrix team of engineers
• Works closely to meet the needs of our accounting and finance teams
• Develops the expansion and management of our supplier base
• Manages risks to schedule and quality of procured parts and assemblies
• Develops our reporting process and produces reports
• Critical team member in crafting our next generation ERP system

Requirements

• Excellent communicator and collaborator who can build strong internal and external relationships
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in fields of supply chain or manufacturing
• Experience in manufacturing of industrial equipment, automotive, or aerospace products
• Good knowledge of engineering drawings
• Project Management experience
• People management experience
• At least 5 years in a similar role
• Multi-site and global supply chain experience a plus
