Operations Analyst
The Box Brands is looking for an Operations Analyst to assist with operations, logistics, and inventory management/purchasing. The right candidate will be comfortable working with numbers, managing spreadsheets, have a very operational mindset and be extremely detail-oriented. This position will work with the Operations Team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment for our partners so we can deliver an excellent customer experience.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
Strong organizational skills as you will ultimately help develop and improve purchasing workflows.
Communicate with retailers/vendors regarding any order issues, damaged items, etc.
Being detail-oriented is a must! This person must track daily product inventory across our nationwide network of partners and franchisees, to ensure accurate and timely purchasing and shipping.
Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets. Must know basics (basic formulas and formatting).
Work closely with Operations Team to address partners’ product and fulfillment needs. Be able to analyze and forecast sales data in order to predict future inventory and purchasing needs.
Create and send invoices to partners/franchisees while ensuring all pricing details are accurate.
Must love working with numbers and possess basic math skills - must know how to calculate sales tax, reconcile numbers, and identify and interpret patterns over time.
Proactive - Must be able to foresee potential issues with purchase requests (e.g. will this item sell out soon?, how will calendar events affect sales in specific locations?)
Multi-tasker - Able to handle multiple projects, issues, and situations simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with strict timelines.
Past purchasing experience is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
