Job Summary
The aim of the Office Manager is to be apositive champion for Sidebench’s awesome company culture, keep the office running smoothly, and help make Sidebench’s working environment fun and friendly. The Office Manager serves as the central hub of administrative support within Sidebench. He or she will assist with the facilitation of company operations and culture by maintaining office processes, supervising staff, and supporting Executive Management. With responsibilities including event planning, accounting, human resources and general office management, this role will work across all areas of the organization. Not only does the Office Manager need to preserve the current strengths of the organization, but they must also be able to generate new ideas for the company and our culture and foresee potential impacts and opportunities for growth while learning from past experience.
Responsibilities & Duties
Implement, maintain and refine office operational processes and procedures
Serve as a steward for company culture and work to keep the office environment positive, fun, and healthy
Work directly with the CEO and Partners to lead and coordinate all administrative efforts
Design and implement office policies in conjunction with leadership
Keep management and staff informed regarding office events and employee feedback & suggestions
Support human resources efforts by recruiting, scheduling, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
Act as central command for Sidebench; greet and provide general support to office visitors, answer incoming calls and emails; coordinate deliveries and accept packages
Project manage and facilitate team and company events
Never stop looking for ways to make Sidebench better
Qualifications & Skills
2+ years of experience in a similar role; passion for serving as an active pillar of a company’s culture and environment
Self-starter with demonstrated capacity for independent initiative
Must be process-oriented with a passion for creating systems to simplify operations
Extreme attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Discretion and tact; this person will have a window into sensitive company and employee information
Adept at online research, Google docs, and technology-at-large; we are a young, tech-first organization that requires a digital native or digital native-like administrator
