Job Description

Seedling USA, Inc. is looking for a hands-on experienced Office Manager to join our team. Our fast paced and upbeat office is looking for a friendly go-getter who is reliable, highly organized and a multi-tasker. This is a hands-on, roll up your sleeves position.   

Responsibilities:                                                                                        

  • Maintain an organized, clean and efficient office environment
  • Provide assistance to employees, visitors, vendors, customers, and applicants. Answer and filter incoming phone calls and emails, route to the appropriate person.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail and packages to recipients daily - ensure outgoing mail & packages are picked up by the appropriate service.
  • Maintain kitchen and office supply inventory - order replacement supplies as required, sort and stock all items appropriately when delivered.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all common areas including kitchen, conference rooms, quiet room and reception area throughout the day.
  • Serve as main contact for facilities maintenance and janitorial services, handling all office maintenance issues (printers, copiers, restrooms, appliances…etc).
  • Assist in planning, coordinating and setting up company events (Internal and External) (i.e. happy hours, holiday parties, Bring Your Kids to Work Day, catered lunches… etc.).
  • Be a positive contribution to Seedling’s growth, culture, and success
  • Help troubleshoot light IT issues serve as liaison to IT resources
  • Occasionally run office related errands
  • Assist CEO and other senior teams members with projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of office management experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be proactive, have a positive attitude and willingness to help
  • Ability to work accurately and carefully under stress of timetables and deadlines
  • Has a proven track record of going the extra mile and taking initiative
  • Heavy lifting of up to 20lbs
  • Must be willing to assemble furniture periodically and work on office repair
  • Must be punctual and have the ability to be at work promptly at 8:30am
  • Mid level skills in Word and Excel, knowledge of Photoshop is a plus
  • Able to quickly pick up new technology a plus
  • Start-Up experience is a plus
