We are looking for a passionate certified Data Analyst or Scientist. The successful candidate will help us turn data into essential information, and information into meaningful business decisions.

Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for math and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for research.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • generating data reports and analysis for a variety of internal customers
  • enforcing reporting standards and analysis methodologies
  • work with management to establishing data and information needs and priorities
  • training and advising internal customers on reporting capabilities, methodologies and vision
  • determining and developing/supporting new data collection systems
  • running investigative data research and analysis
  • collaborating with internal customers, including the Product and Engineering team

Requirements: What experience does this person need to have in order to be successful. Some examples are

  • BS in Mathematics, Ecomomics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • strong analytical skills
  • proven working experience as a (business) data analyst and/or scientist
  • understanding of structured and unstructured data modeling
  • experience applying statistical concepts/methodologies, data mining
  • strong knowledge of reporting tools, packages and data warehousing tools
  • familiarity with SQL, ETL and other data querying and transformation concepts
  • and a great team-player attitude 

Nice to Haves:

  • knowledge of the healthcare space a big plus!
  • machine learning, AI practical experience
  • experience with Map Reduce and data frameworks
  • MS in Data Science
