Procore is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join us at our headquarters in Carpinteria, CA in the Engineering Department. Our L&D Specialists take a hands-on role in the definition, development, execution, and adoption of Engineering L&D programs while supporting company-wide learning initiatives. You will also collaborate with the Engineering and Product Enablement teams to build a comprehensive onboarding experience for new hires, as well as other Enablement teams for ongoing cross-departmental learning opportunities. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about crafting a culture of learning within the department and supporting the development of necessary training programs that make our Engineering team members more effective in their roles.

Responsibilities:

• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to craft relevant learning programs
• Expand new-hire Engineering onboarding training
• Collaborate with other enablement teams to build cross-departmental learning
• Organize the conference attendance process and arrange guest speakers for the department
• Support the roll-out of a department Learning Management System (LMS)
• Build internal training programs using e-learning technology
• Facilitate training in leadership, department processes, communication, and basic technology skills
• Provide evaluation, measurement, and recommendations for improving Engineering training programs
• Facilitate needs-assessments to find opportunities and learner needs

Knowledge and Skills:

• 5+ years in the field of corporate learning and development
• 3+ years in building and delivering technology-based training programs for employees and external users of the product
• Experience in curriculum design, development, and delivery
• Skilled at utilizing learning technology including analytics, course development tools, and applications as well as learning platforms and content management systems
• Strong project management experience with a consistent track record of completing challenging projects with bold goals and deadlines
• Ability to develop a blended learning approach
• Ability to communicate to and influence a wide range of partners and audiences
• Proficiency with Google Apps and MAC/PC Platforms
• A college degree in business, communication, or education is preferred
• Understanding of SCRUM and Agile technology environments is preferred
• Engineering or technical background is a plus
